Merchantville Small Business Micro Grant Program
Mayor Brennan and Borough Council are proud to open applications for the Merchantville Small Business Micro Grant Program. This new initiative is designed to offer Merchantville’s hard working and innovative business owners the unique opportunity to take on new programs, update store fronts, upgrade technology and a host of other projects to boost business and propel their work forward. A thriving downtown depends on the businesses’ ability to continually grow and pivot. It is the hope of Borough Council that these micro grants provide a resource to allow Merchantville’s small business owners to tackle projects they otherwise may not be able to take on.
The Borough has dedicated $10,000 towards the grant program. Grants are awarded up to $1,000 each to worthwhile projects including:
- Exterior enhancements to the building
- Interior Enhancements
- Window displays
- Interior fit-out costs associated with relocation or expansion of business
- Technology & Security
Applications are reviewed by a committee of Council representatives, Borough staff, and MBPA leadership. All businesses are encouraged to apply through the application provided here.
